[SLL] tab button gets stuck down when no keyboard plugged in?

That makes sense, but I think this weirdness didn't start immediately
after the keyboard was unplugged.  of course, I wasn't there to witness
it, so who knows...  but I got the impression the tab key got stuck down
after some successful operating time during which the keyboard was
unplugged.  I'll have to clarify.
