[SLL] Importing from Kmail to Kmail?

I'm trying to transition over to a new laptop and so my last migration act is 
try to import my email from Kmail on my old laptop into Kmail on my new one. 
I know I could probably just take my ~/Mail directory and copy it over to my 
new laptop but I have some emails in Kmail already on my new system that I 
don't want to lose. I don't see any sort of Export feature for Kmail in 
looking at all of the menu options.

There's an import feature in Kmail and my target system is setup to store my 
email in "maildir" format. In looking at my ~/Mail directory every folder is 
a subdirectory and every email is in it's own file. Assuming no filename 
collisions it looks like I might be able to just copy all of the files into 
folders with the same name on my new laptop.
